Bill Hemmer has shared a deeply moving tribute to his late mother, Georganne Knittle Hemmer, after facing one of the most painful chapters of his life.
The longtime America’s Newsroom anchor lost his beloved mother on April 27, 2024, in Ohio. She was 88. Her passing came just a few years after the death of Bill’s father, William R. Hemmer, in 2021 — leaving the family mourning both parents in a short and profoundly emotional period.
