William Barr, the former United States Attorney General, is now facing explosive allegations from a whistleblower who says he secretly teamed up with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to bring racketeering charges against Donald Trump.
The whistleblower, Patrícia Lélis, told Project Veritas that these meetings took place over a period of years beginning in 2021 and stretching into 2023. She claims the sole purpose was to stop Trump from winning back the White House in 2024.
According to Lélis, the sessions were held in Washington, D.C., and included political figures, media personalities, and legal strategists who shared a common goal of politically neutralizing Trump.
Lélis says she worked for media figure Armstrong Williams at the time and personally attended “dozens” of these meetings where Barr and Willis coordinated legal attacks on the former president and his allies.
She provided Project Veritas with boxes of handwritten notes, photos, and messages that she claims document these encounters in detail.
One of the most significant meetings allegedly took place on February 27, 2023. Lélis says that during this gathering, Barr told Willis, “We should bring RICO because it is a very difficult type of charge to defend.”
Lélis claims Barr explained that racketeering charges are complicated and can be hard for defendants to fight under U.S. law, making them an ideal weapon in a political prosecution.
The whistleblower also describes a September 6, 2021 meeting that included Barr, CNN commentator Shermichael Singleton, and others. She says the group discussed building a media strategy to complement Congress’ January 6 investigation.
Notes from that meeting allegedly show Barr identifying additional targets beyond Trump, including Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Stewart Rhodes, Enrique Tarrio, Jeffrey Clark, the Oath Keepers, and the Proud Boys.
Many of the individuals on Barr’s reported target list were later subpoenaed or investigated, which Lélis says is no coincidence.
Another alleged meeting took place on March 15, 2022, at Sinclair Broadcast Group headquarters. Lélis claims Barr met with Willis and federal prosecutor Jack Smith to discuss upcoming charges Smith would file in Florida related to Trump’s handling of classified documents.
She says that at this meeting Barr predicted that an FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago would happen soon. Five months later, the raid took place.
Lélis further alleges that Willis worked with a social media team to produce anti-Trump content designed to influence public opinion during the legal battles.
“One thing that I understood very well is, like, Bill Barr and Armstrong and all the politicians too, they’re very focused like in how they go to stop Trump,” Lélis told Project Veritas.
According to her account, these operations were not limited to the courtroom but extended into a broader political and media campaign.
Critics say if these claims are accurate, they represent a coordinated and highly unethical use of legal power to interfere in an election.
Supporters of Trump have long argued that prosecutors in multiple jurisdictions have been weaponized against him for political purposes.
The whistleblower’s story now gives those claims new weight, although it remains unverified by mainstream outlets or independent investigators.
Pamela Geller posted her reaction to the report stating, “Texts, notes, and emails expose Fani Willis and Bill Barr worked together on the RICO case targeting Donald Trump.”
Project Veritas has released videos, photos, and documents connected to Lélis’s allegations.
For now, these claims stand as allegations from a single source, albeit one who says she has firsthand knowledge and documentation.
Conservatives are calling for a congressional investigation into whether federal and local prosecutors colluded to target Trump and his supporters.
