Andy Byron is allegedly not just a cheater — but also a horrible boss.
The CEO, who was recently caught allegedly cheating with his co-worker at a Coldplay concert, made people at his previous company quit because of how he treated them, according to a resurfaced report.
“Multiple former employees said Mr. Byron would lash out against employees who disagreed with him, including threatening to fire them,” reads an exposé about the cybersecurity tech company Cybereason published on the Information, a tech and business outlet.
In the article titled, “Fake Hire, Staff Departures Roil SoftBank-Backed Security Startup,” a former employee claimed of Byron, “You couldn’t challenge him.”

Byron was reportedly hired to be Cybereason’s chief revenue officer in 2017, and he worked there for more than two years, according to his now-deactivated LinkedIn account.
The Massachusetts-based businessman allegedly ruffled feathers during his tenure at the tech company, though, because he put an exorbitant amount of pressure on his workers.
One former staffer claimed, “We started off in the right direction and were very successful, but [with] the pressure to grow employees and revenue, it was never enough to just say we were a fast-growing company. We had to be the fastest-growing.” The worker described the ordeal as “sad.”
An employee who still worked at Cybereason at the time of the article’s publication in April 2018 noted, “People loved the company. Now they hate it.”

Byron’s alleged poor management skills reportedly drove many people to leave the company.
To replace them, the former chief revenue officer hired loyal salespeople from his former company Fuze, according to the Information’s report.
In response to the allegations made about him at the time, Byron told the outlet that he was hired at Cybereason to reach the next phase of growth, meaning “difficult decisions” were made that may have “disappointed some individuals.” He denied any bad behavior claims, though.
