We might be at the height of the festive season, but if you need a break from winter romances movies and Christmas songs then Netflix has got something a bit different for you to sink your teeth into.
With seven seasons each packed with at least a dozen episodes, this is a series that will keep you busy right into the New Year and will help you escape any dreaded family game nights that start off fun, but quickly descend into chaos.
Starring Eliza Taylor, who you might have seen on your screen recently thanks to her festive movie Christmas Inheritance, the drama-action series is set 97 years after a nuclear war completely destroyed civilization on Earth.
Luckily humans were able to escape by fleeing to space, but now 100 teenagers have been sent back to Earth with the task of repopulating the entire planet. No pressure, then.
The series, which also stars Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan and Richard Harmon, among others, originally aired on The CW before it arrived on Netflix, meaning fans no longer have to put up with a lengthy wait between episodes and seasons.
